yep. his existence is only to be used as a gate for sterek plausibility, and i’m sure many sterek fans will ignore danny as a whole if sterek becomes canon
I was about to mention that. That it seems to be this generation of fandom’s thing to insist your ship will become/is canon. I know I mention a LOT that I’ve been in fandom a while but when I started that wasn’t really a thing. You had a lot of intense shippers sure but not this huge majority who thinks the only way to have a valid ship is to have a canon ship.
