i feel like jeff davis doesn’t know what to do with erica. i love boyd/erica just like the next erica-multishipper, but he’s her fifth love interest and none, including the fifth, have been explored on-screen. first she shows interest in scott. then she kisses derek. she tells stiles in the past she had a crush on him. she hangs out with isaac more than with anyone else, they have moments and kiss during the raving scene. now she’s holding hands with boyd and wanting to run away with him. none of these ships were developed at all.

i don’t think erica is a “bitch” for wanting all of them. in fact, if she does, she’s nothing but normal. if there’s only one person in your life that you’ve ever felt attracted to, then i don’t really know how your brain works. over seasons, characters have more than five love interests. but just—they’re usually developed. i feel like even scott/lydia back in season one was more developed than any of the erica ships.

while i adore the concept of boyd/erica, i just wish we’d see it happening. or isaac/erica. or stiles/erica. or derek/eriica. or scott/erica. or allison/erica or lydia/erica OR LAURA HALE/ERICA REYES. i just want to see erica having a romantic life developed, or none at all.

Highlighting this because somewhere along the way that statement was thrown in the garbage to be replaced by Isaac being all up in Scott’s grill.
