coletureconcept: One extremely meta photo of myself whilst traveling through the forests of southern France.  Another medieval fortification built into a cave structure on the cliff face.  Unfortunately the very thing I’m taking a picture of, is a carving of something from a contemporary vandal’s hand.  Graffiti is unfortunately more common than one would think at archaeological sites. A shame what we do for legacy no?  Some people simply want to be a part of “history.”
